Fuimos con familia y amigos y de verdad que quedamos maravillados de lo bonita que es la casa.Todo en general esta hecho con muy buen gusto manteniendo el espiritu rural y tambien muy bien equipada y el propietario muy servicial.La recomiendo con mucho gusto y espero yo tambien volver.

We stayed in this wonderful house in June 2008 with our two children (13 & 3). The house is beautiful inside and out and is spotlessly clean and of course the outdoor area which is what we all want on holidays was perfect, especially with the pool area. The owners Goncalo and Fatima and their two children were so welcoming, we felt really at home, we did not have any portuguese and Goncalo helped us out in every way possible. The location of the house in the Minho Region was perfect, the small village of Caldelas is so quaint and perfect to have located arond the corner from the house, it comprised of small restaurants, shops, bakery, pharmacy and of course the Spa. But the nices part about it was that when you closed the gate in to the property, it made you feel like you were in the middle of the country. The views from every angle in the property where spectacular. The location from the house to the main City of Porto was only one hour drive, Braga which is a stunning town is only 20 mins by car and Vila Verde about 10 mins in the car. We also drove to the coast Viana de Castelo which took approx. 45 mins, this too was perfect and had beautiful beaches. In all we can not say enough about the property, location and of course the Peixoto Family, they helped make the holiday for us in this stunningly beautiful untouched part of Portugal. We were attending a conference in Braga at the beginning of February. Driving the distance to Caldelas to stay at this charming house was well worth it!!
We loved the comfort and warmth of the house and our hosts attended to our needs with diligence and old-world class.
This is a wonderful destination for a business trip: you sure will unplug at the end of the day! I am now looking forward to going back on a family vacation!

There is the saying "One cant say he has visited Portugal unless he has visited the North (of Portugal)", that saying has become a rule since my visit to this beautiful & totally authentically traditional house in Caldelas. The pretense of tradition and authenticity that has become the norm, I'm happy to say contrasted this holiday because of its true history and architecture as well as price all in its true place. 5 stars. A must visit again! Thank you Mr. Peixoto.

We stayed in this fabulous house with our two kids (4&5 years old) for three weeks in October 2007. The house is really gorgeous and clean. It is an old world farmhouse with modern conveniences. There is plenty of old garden, an outdoor entertainment area, wood fire barbeque and a stream which runs through the property. The views are stunning, with a mountain behind the village and a valley below. It a great location to drive from and explore the region. It is about twenty minutes from the city of Braga, and an hour from Porto. There are many nice little walks around the village itself.
We found the house to be lovely and quiet, set in the heart of this charming village, with shops and cafe's just around the corner. Our kids were really happy and busy in the garden although we had a rule not to go near the pool unless with an adult.
The owners of the house were warm and helpful and the house was cleaned weekly which was great!
We can't recommend this house highly enough.

Hier haben die Fotos vom Haus wirklich gestimmt, es ist tatsächlich super schön.Eine geschmackvolle Einrichtung mit viel Komfort und ein paradiesischer Garten mit großartigem Swimmingpool. Herr Peixoto war ein sehr sympatischer Gastgeber und konnte zu unserer Erleichterung Englisch sprechen. Caldelas und Umgebung ist ein hervorragender Ort, um sich zu entspannen. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert! Nochmals ein großes DANKESCHÖN an Herrn Peixoto, wir kommen gerne nochmal wieder.

Casa bem equipada muito acolhedora com uma piscina maravilhosa.
O Senhor Gonçalo é muito simpático e espero voltar mais uma vez.
Sem duvida que faço publicidade e recomendo 100%.

Que belos dias passamos lá agora em Maio. Uma casa bem equipada, com todas as comodidades e muito bonita. Esperamos em breve tornar a repetir a estadia, se possível no Verão para experimentarmos a piscina.

Passamos 5 dias maravilhosos nesta casa absolutamente fantástica...! Sem dúvida um verdadeiro pedaço do Paraíso na Terra! Uma palavra especial de agradecimento ao Sr Peixoto pela simpatia com que nos acolheu; estamos "mortinhos" por voltar!Obrigada!
